It depends. I think Cedar Point is better. Lower prices for admission unlike Kings Island which has a higher admission price. Cedar Point has more rides that are superb and world class. However, Kings Island is getting a new coaster by B & M which is sure to be great.

For the kids, I would say Kings Island because they have way many more rides for the kids. Roller coasters, etc. for them and everyone else. It is definitely for the family. The scenery is fantastic.

For the Adults and teenagers, Cedar Point because there are numerous intense rides that are sure to please all day long and the next day. They have awesome rides that are well known such at Top Thrill Dragster, Millenium Force, Maverick, Mantis, Magnum XL 200, Raptor, and countless others.

As I said, it depends on the type of person you are. I would suspect that both are great for you, but if you want the ultimate thrill then Cedar Point is your park.

Glad to have helped.

I traveled from boston, massachusetts all the way to cedar point with my 3 teenage sons, just to check out cedar point. It was great. I learned about cedar point from watching the Travel Channel, they rated the park & the rides to be great & we had a blast. I felt like one of the kids myself. We kept on going on ride after ride for 4 days straight, and when it got to hot we went over to the water park. I have been to a lot of parks, but Cedar Point is #1 on my list..

2015 update. I live in Ohio and have been to both more than once. In all categories KI is better. People are nicer, much cleaner park, shorter lines, and much less expensive if you buy your tickets at AAA. You can wait in line for up to/over 3 hours for a popular ride at CP - not at KI. Very short lines, usually walk on, but certainly less than 30 minutes. KI has no less than 6 mega extreme roller coasters, plus a ton of other rides too. Their water rides are a hoot. Lots of things for kids under age 10, also. I d say they are both about the same size - you can t do it all in one day at either park. An upgrade to both parks would be picnic area(s) for families like at Kennywood. Sorry CP, but I can t think of anything you have that is better than KI.
