How much should I save up for Disneyland shopping?

So I'm going to Disneyland Anaheim in November.
Luckily the actual trip and hotel are paid and the rest I have already budgeted for.
However how much should I save for souvenir shopping? I almost never go but I'm a huge Disneyland fan and also a lover of all things vintage fashion (partly why I like Disney so much)
And I'm going to be there about 2 days
If I were to want something like pens, autograph books, themed hoody, assortment of fashion items from New Orleans section or main street, caricature, a parasol, a bunch of pins and PLENTY of cute toys and stuffed animals(for my cousins and some for me). I wouldn't include collectibles like star wars stuff in the budget since it really depends on the item but just run of the mill souvenirs.
About how much should I pack for 2 days? 200-300 dollars? More or less?
-How much are the street vendors about? Like buying an icecream or those big pickles? Last time I was there I was a little girl and didn't pay attention to prices.
-Is everything expensive at Disney, like even hats and sunglasses?( I mean the cheap ones at stands not collectible nice ones)

I think around 200-300 dollars would be right, as you said. I went to Disneyland in Paris and it's a little bit different but if you want to buy all of that stuff 200-300 is perfect.

I have no idea, but I know most of those restaurants or things where you eat are pretty expensive. I bought some chicken and it costed me around 10 dollars for like 4 pieces of chicken.

Not really, you can find some good cheap stuff, but I think the collectible ones are pretty expensive.

Does your trip also include meals? This will make a big difference, as food is also very expensive.

I would say $300 bare minimum, much more if you're a shopper (and it sounds like you are)! Keep in mind that a cute hoodie can be upwards of $50-$60, collectable pins around $15 each. Unfortunately, yes, everything at Disneyland is expensive.

Here are a few suggestions to help stretch your budget:

1. If you live anywhere near a Disney Store, go there to buy pens, autograph books, tee-shirts, etc. prior to your trip. If you don't live near one, go to the disney store online and order these items in advance. Even with shipping, you will save a huge amount of money this way, and be able to spurge on a Disney Parks exclusive sweatshirt and pins. For example, at the Disney Store in the mall, you can often get two shirts for under $20, while shirts at the park can run $40 each.

2. Be sure not to forget your sunglasses, water bottle (you can get free ice at any restaurant in the park to refill your bottle and save on drinks) and sunscreen at home, because you'll pay out the nose for all these at the parks.

3. Before you go, go to the dollar store for some of those cheap neon bracelets and necklaces to wear at night - you won't be tempted to pay $20 for glow-in-the-dark Mickey ears!

4. In terms of edible treats, try to buy those that are unique to the park - for instance, why pay $10 for the same popcorn you can get at the movies home? Treats like the different varieties of Mickey candied apples, the smoked turkey legs, baked treats from Jolly Holiday Bakery (yes, I'm getting hungry), pineapple soft-serve from the Tiki Room, the Croque Monsieur from Cafe Orleans - these are all foods that you just can't get anywhere else. Splurge on these! (P.S. many restaurants have kid's meals that are enough food for an adult - much cheaper)

5. To determine how much you'll need for food, you can check out this site: http://allears.net/dlr/din/menu/menus.htm

Have a wonderful time!

Disney is expensive, all the prices are over-inflated, so really the best bet is to just set your budget and stick to it.

Pens cost about $6.50

Autograph books cost about $12 I think

Shirts/Hoodies -- around $30 and up

Pins run at least $7 and can cost upwards of $50 for a set, so it depends on what you get.

I mean, really they have everything from key chains for a few bucks to expensive jewelry for thousands of dollars-- no matter what you bring there is going to be plenty of opportunities to spend-- so decide how much you want to spend and bring that.

What's reasonable souvanier money for you may be way out of someone else's budget, or to another person might be a piddly amount. It's going to be different for every person.
