Has anyone ever got stuck on a roller coaster?

I just got back from going on a school trip to Florida and we went to Sea World and Disney World. At Sea World, I got stuck on Manta. It was almost over. It's kind of like the Superman ride because you are laying on your stomach. We were stuck for about 15 or 20 minutes. Has anyone else ever got stuck on a roller coaster, any kind of roller coaster?

yeah i've gotten stuck on my fair share.

i got stuck on space mountain in magic kingdom. it was just me and my friend in the car and it was at the end. they had to turn on the lights and they pushed the car into the station so we could get out.

i've also gotten stuck on rock n roller coaster at hollywood studios it was also at the end it took about 10 minutes to get it up and running again.

and i've gotten stuck on this wooden roller coaster at a theme park near where i live. actually it was just me that was stuck. my lap bar wouldn't come up. it took about 20-30 minutes and they ended up actually removing the bar since it wouldn't release.

and i got stuck on the boomerang at a six flags park. we were stuck at the very top before the cable releases. they couldn't get it to release for quite a while and it was the first time i ever went on that roller coaster so i was a bit freaked just sitting there looking down.

yes there are many reasons to get stuck on a coaster.

It is called valleying when the coaster doesn't have enough

speed to finish the run.

also if the computer controlling the coaster thinks there is a coaster

ahead it will stop the ride

Also if the estop is pushed the coaster will stop.

not to mention if the running gear breaks and the coaster will not roll

it grinds to a stop



I have been stopped on multiple coasters.

Got stuck on Air at Alton towers for about 30 minutes, and Space mountain at Disney land for about 40 minutes.

I have been stuck on the bit were it hangs you over the edge of the vertical drop in oblivion Alton Towers for about 10 minuets before they could get it running again.

Me and a friend did time at Six Flags over Texas.It was in the middle of December to and it was very cold and windy we were up there for almost a like 30 Min's, It was so cold.It was the shark wave.
