I am going to cedar point for Hallo-weekends on September 20th. I have never been there for hallo-weekends before. I was wondering how busy they are on Saturdays and if the lines are long? Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? Thanks!

The lines on Saturday for Hallo-weekends are usually quite long because Cedar Point is only open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during September and October. I work in Sandusky along Route 250 (the main north/south road into Sandusky) and the traffic is horrendous during these two months because of the Cedar Point traffic. A trip into town that would normally take me 5 minutes can take up to 30 minutes on Saturdays. Based on this, Cedar Point is extremely busy on the days that it takes me 30 minutes to get into town. It is hard to determine if the park will be busy on September 20th because it depends on how many other people had the same idea as you, but expect the park to be busy (the weekends in September and October are often more busy than the summer). Some tips would be to allow plenty of time to get to the park and ride the rides that everyone wants to ride (Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, and Maverick) early in the morning as soon as you get to the park. I would also make sure you are at the park before the park opens...perhaps 30 minutes early.

the only night some rides are closed is on Fridays, yet different than that they are all open for the weekend. Hallo weekends are magnificent, yet very very crowded, i think there are greater human beings for those weekends then the different time of the year, besides the undeniable fact that that's worth it. I actually have a family individuals of 7 and there are various resorts which will sleep 6, do exactly not tell them approximately the different throughout examine in and the rooms artwork in simple terms nice, holiday lodge has intense-high quality sized rooms, and that i think that's the conventional lodge placed on the beginning up of the causeway that have intense-high quality sized rooms. that's a might desire to for each man or woman to make certain, we are going returned this weekend!

Saturdays are nuts! My suggestion is to get there early and hit the back of the park first. If you are staying at a CP resort, take advantage of the early entry perk. You can get in at 9am and there are several rides open early. We get this perk with our season passes and go early to ride Maverick, Millennium, and Raptor. Try and hit the big coasters early. Lines will be long,

The good news is there is so much more to do on Halloweekends that just rides. They are opening a few new outdoor scare zones that look so fun. There is a link below to their Halloweekends site. Check it out!

saturdays are sooo busy. but you dont only have to go on rides, you can go in haunted houses, the outdoor scare zones, the shows, and just walk around. a plus for saturday are that the hours are long, when your going the park is open from 12pm-12am so you have 12 hours in the park. Friday is only open from 6pm-12am and sunday is open from 11am-8pm. so friday is half the time you have on saturday, and sunday the haunted houses arent even open.
