new ride at cedar point in 08 ?

Does anyone know if Cedar Point is building a NEW ride for the 08 season ?

No they are not building new rides at CP this year they are only bring some of the kiddie rides from Geauga lake this year. They did tear down some things and made room for Planet Snoopy which is taking the place peanuts playground which is going to be located next to Wicked twister and the pagoda. They did tear some things out to make room for Planet Snoopy.

Planet Snoopy is going to feature seven rides and a family lounge with quiet areas for feeding, resting and changing, which will replace the former Peanuts Playground.



The other thing that CP did this season is remodeled Sand Castle Suites hotel went under complete interior renovation so that is going to look diffrent to.



As for the 09 season there might be a new ride going up but i dont know where it is going to go CP is starting to run out of room to build new rides. So here is probably whats going to happen they will tear down something or they are going to be putting in more land on the coast to make the peninsula more bigger.

For 2008 Cedar Point is changing their Peanuts Playground area into Planet Snoopy.

It will feature 7 rides, new games, a character meet and greets with the Peanuts gang, and a new restaurant geared towards kids.



Cedar Point will also be adding 4 new shows this year.

There Is New Stuff But Its A little Kids Area. No New Major Ride Just Kids Stuff. Its Awsome That A Thrill Park Like That Still Focuses On There Younger Visiters!

No new big rides for '08, however, they are rebuilding the kiddie area. It's called Planet Snoopy, and they're getting a bunch of rides from the now closed down Geauga Lake.

they arent making any new big rides or coasters if that is what you mean. Cedar Point's main project for 08 is re-doing the kiddie-park. They are changing it a lot and it is no longer going to be snoopy themed i believe.

I did not see anything on the site above regarding any new attractions, but I could of had a blonde moment. We are planning a family vacation their this summer.

It would be cool, but it doesn't matter. I've got to take my granddaughters --they've never been--and this ol' man is going to get them on the roller coasters........hehe
