Was anyone at Disneyland on Wednesday 8/29/12. Do you know why all the rides in the park went down for an hour?

I was at Disneyland on Wednesday. Before 2 o'clock all the rides went down in the whole park. Everyone was going nuts. It was like it was the end of the world. They even started to cover all the carts that sell ice cream and popcorn as if the park was closing. It was kind of strange, because it was so quiet. Every now and then you would hear someone yelling at a cast member. Then about an hour later all the rides opened. No one said a thing. When you asked what happened, they would just say that a ride shuts down, and we need to fix it. But this was every ride in the park, and no one would say why. They would only say they knew only about the ride they were at.

My sources haven't reported anything about it, but there were two small earthquakes on the Whittier fault just before 2pm on 8/29/12. It is possible that the ride computer systems detected the movement and initiated a park-wide emergency stop. When that happens, cast members have to evacuate guests, wait for the all-clear, and then cycle the rides back up all of which takes some time.

If shops were open and lights were on, it wasn't a power outage.

YES! I can tell you why. At approsimaely 1:40, a small earthquake measuring 4.1 occurred nearby. It's standard operating procedure at Disneyland to evacuation the attractions and do a systems safety check. In most cases, the ride is cleared and allowed to reboard guests in just a few minutes. For example, on the day you were there, the Tower of Terror and California Scremin' were back in business in 10 minutes. Most guests are understanding, and glad to know that their safety is Disney's first and foremost concern.

It was me. I did it. Me and my friend Joe was going to take a small meal, just when Joe saw the love of his life. He said we had to follow her and I was like "Dude, you'll make yourself look like a stalker. It's not worth it; you've been like this about 5 times the last two months". But he wouldn't let it go, so I followed him, funnily. She went in a small door on mushroom (made out of plastic or whatever, some kind of detail at disney land), when we opened it she was nowhere. But we did see spiral stairs and I was like "Joe, I'm gonna wait outside... This is a bad idea." But he was a sissy and he was quite scared because it was dark and looked kind of abandoned down there so he made me go down. We gone down the stairs just to find five guards pointing at us with electro guns or whatever. Joe nearly got a heart attack. He started whining and said he didn't mean it, he was just following a girl. And yes, that made it into a even bigger mess. He made it look like we were rapists.

I don't know what happened, but I took one of the guards and used him as a shield (held him infront of me) when another guard used the electro thingy on HIM because I blocked. I threw him on the guy who shocked him so he fell over, then kicked one in the nuts and took him around the shoulders and blammed him in to the other two guys, who was surprised over what I've done. They barely reacted. I didn't know what I gone up through the spiral stairs just to find out it was locked, and me and Joe started running. Funnily, Joe didn't look as surprised as I thought he would. I don't go to any sport or anything, so it felt like a dream. However, at the end of the coridor there was to ways to go: we took the left. Over there, there was a door. We entered. I almost fainted. There was about 100 - 120 kittens in there. All in a tiny room making noises. We all let them out and they ran away, to a small hole in the wall where they disappereared. After that there was no noise. Nothing at all. A bit of scary feeling came along, so we tried to find a way out. Locked. All doors locked. A lever which done nothing seemed to work tho. After an hour one of the door worked and outside everyone were quite. I asked an old bald man what happened, he said in a french accent "there has been a murder at de hotel". I said "Wait, what? How, how'd that happen?" The man smiled. He smiled so we could see his green yellowish teeth. "The victim was scratched, and he was smiling: he wasn't poisoned or anything." I thought this man must've been brain dead, but for a second here I almost turned religious. Joe started getting nervous. "Let's go out of here.". We gone out of Disneyland and took a bus to Paris. There we gone to a hotel. We had no idea what happened, neither had I. But this will haunt me my whole life, kind of weird tho: not scary, just creepy.

I have removed a few details because I felt they were unnecessary.

Wasn't there but my guess would be a park wide power failure?
