If I buy an annual pass for Disneyland online can I redeem it anyday?

I bought an annual pass online to avoid ticket lines tomorrow. I then noticed that tomorrow is a blockout date. Can I still redeem my annual pass tomorrow or do I have to wait until an open day. I was under the impression that the eticket was just like any other day ticket until it was processed but I'm not sure. I would hate to go tomorrow and have them turn me away. So...can I still go tomorrow or what?

The very first day you use your annual passport, you can use it on a blockout date after that you must adhere to the blockout dates.

(The reason why it's not consider a blockout date on your first visit is if you were planning on visiting the park, you would had to purchased an 1-day ticket. That ticket gives you the right to upgrade to a 3-day, 4-day, or an annual passport. So if you enter the park with your one-day ticket then go to Bank of Main St. to upgrade to annual pass that would normally be blocked out, it wouldn't be fair if they kicked you out. You might have some trouble on your first day park hopping but all ticket takers are aware of this loophole.)

To answer your first question, there is a redeem by date on the annual passport. It's not really an expiration date. If you don't redeem the pass by that date then you have to pay the difference of the new pass price. But don't worry it's usually some far off date like Feburary 28, 2010.

It is my understanding that you can use your annual pass on any day, but if it is a blockout day for your pass level you will be asked to pay an additional amount (I think $40) to enter the park.

FYI to Lissa:

etickets have a 13 day expiration on them. But everything else you said is right.
