Like so many record breaking roller coasters, the Kingda Ka has experienced multiple mechanical issues forcing its closure for days and sometimes weeks at a time. If you are going to Great Adventure specifically to ride the Kingda Ka it is highly recommended to check the ride's status via park's website.
