We have to pick one to go to for a day on a road trip. Also, which do you find to be cheaper for the family?

Kings Dominion is always geared towards the younger set.

Busch Gardens is going to be expensive. Make sure you have those $7 discount coupons for Kings Dominion handy because KD is $40 for adults and $25 for children 3 and over (but under 48" tall). KD charges you $10 for parking and 2 year olds get in for free as well.

Busch Gardens costs $55 for adults, $48 for children 3-9 and $10 for parking. 2 year olds and younger get in for free.

I would choose King Dominion for that age group. They have alot of appropriate things to do for that age like the Nickelodeon park that they have inside it. And they have a whole waterpark inside it too! You'll have a blast! I think that Busch Gardens is more for a bit older crowd and they do have a waterpark, but you have to pay extra to get into it at another location. Yep, you're best bet is Kings Dominion. Have Fun!

Both good, but I would go with King's Dominion. Busch Gardens is too spread out with their different " country " themes and you have to walk alot more to get to stuff than you do at King's Dominion.

Kings Dominion has more to do for smaller children. I have been to both parks and for the money your children of that age will have more fun at Kings Dominion.
