In general, no it does not. When WDW first opened Magic Kingdom there weren't any laws about allowing handicap access. When those laws went into place it was easier to allow wheelchairs to come in the exit than it was to redo the entire waiting area. However as rides have been refurbished in MK the entrance lines have been made handicap accessible. In the newer parks the rides are built with handicap accessible entrances. Sometimes the design of the ride/building causes the line to not be fully wheelchair accessible. IE for Toy Story Mania, wheelchairs go about 2/3 of the way through the regular line. then when the line goes up a fight of steps, wheelchair are directed to an elevator. Once at the top those in wheelchairs rejoin the regular line.

eta: The only people who go to the front of the line are those with a guest assitance pass, those visiting with the Make A Wish Foundation, those who pay for a specail behind the scene tours and celebrities

Here is the official policy and a list of the rides inwhich those in wheelchairs and ECVs use the mainstream Queues:

MAINSTREAM QUEUES

It is mostly true.

If the queue is ADA compliant(and a good fraction of the newer attractions will be this way), then even if you have a Wheel Chair you will wait in the regular line up until almost the end. At that point they may have your group go to another area to actually get on the attraction.

If the queue can not handle Wheelchairs you will be in a separate line, that in most cases will be shorter. However, depending on how many other people who need Special Assistance and the attraction your wait could be non-existent or it could be as long as the regular line.

The best thing to do is when you arrive go to Guest Relations in what ever park you are in and ask the Cast Member for a Guide to Guests with Disabilities. That will tell you how each attraction is handled.

Yes it really does get you ahead in the lines. We went a few years ago and my Friend was in a wheelchair at the time. They take you to the handicapped entrance of the ride and you go in there. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes but it really does bypass most of the long lines.

Yep it's true. I've done it with my Grandma who's in a wheelchair.
