Disney World in Florida, much more than you could ever fit into Disneyland. And a week would leave you with stuff still not done, I've been to both, Disneyland doesn't even come close to Disney World.

I have been to both parks many times and there are things about both that I enjoy. At DW I liked it because it had more options like Epcot, the water park, etc. Also, for a family vacation there were more Disney hotels to choose. But, I also have things that I like about Disneyland. One of my favorite areas is New Orleans Square and it is not part of DW, only Disneyland. Someone else recommended checking the Internet for times, prices, etc. I think this is a great idea. I have also seen websites with advice about planning your day to maximize your time. Fastpasses are the way to go, especially for the more popular rides like Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and the Indiana Jones ride.

If you are going to San Diego, definitely go to the beach. Also, you won't be far from Ensenada. That could be another option for you.

I think Disney World is better. There are more rides. But if you're really lookin' for rollercoasters, Disney (World or Land) isn't your best bet because it's WAY more triggered towards little kids, and a lot of the rides are more virtual and movie based. Cedar Point is AWESOME if you ever go to Ohio...but in Cali there's also places like Magic Mountain and Knott's Berryfarm that are better for rollercoasters.

im from australia and just went to usa for 1st time. I thought Disney World was babyish, with only a few good rides, everest at animal kingdom, and hollywood hotel tower of terror and aerosmith rollercoaster at mgm. Disneyland was great, it had a nicer atmosphere especially new orleans part. But it is SO much busier. Disneyland is more suited to older crowds (im 22). Only prob is the original rides eg space mountain and pirates of caribbean are CRAP compared to DW. But most other rides are same or better.

San Diego - GO TO ZOO AND WILD ANIMAL PARK. No one goes to the park but it is fantastic, you MUST see the elephant show, she dances!! So cute. Also in san diego go to Gaslamp quarter for dinner, and see old town. Dont go to little italy its not worth it. I did not get to spend enough time in san diego but it is a beautiful city and id love to go back. Enjoy your holiday, hope this helps.

well they are both very fun. some of the rides are better in disneyland than they are in disneyworls for example space mountain, but disney world has more rides and is WAY bigger. There are plenty of things to do in sandiego. the beach, sea world, the zoo, wild animal park, and much much more! Be sure to look up disneyland on the internet to see the hours and ticket prices and the open rides becaue not all of the rides are open all the time.

Every person I know who has gone to either park has said they were greatly disappointed. They say it was a let down because how much it had been built up in their mind. Everyone I know of had said the whole disney experience was not what they had anticipated. I don't know which one is better, just don't get your hopes up too high.

Cheers ; )
